SoundTrack_Cologne is Europe's leading congress for music and sound in film, games and media, and a source of inspiration for the growing landscape of festivals and congresses in Europe. In over 40 round tables, panels, workshops and networking events, SoundTrack_Cologne focuses on current developments in culture, law, marketing and technics of media music and offers business cases and networking events. In 2024 SoundTrack_Cologne will celebrate its 21st edition.

SoundTrack_Cologne is a film event - from the music perspective. The event addresses business professionals, music students and everyone interested in film and music.
When it comes to film narratives, SoundTrack_Cologne aims to give its audience a diversive and versatile experience of music and sound. Judical, economic and aesthetic work conditions of film composers in a global market stand in the forefront, whereas a dialogue is established between the various film trades in workshops, workshop talks, case studies and panel discussions by experienced and established film composers to pass on their knowledge to the next generation.
With competitions such as the European Talent Competition and Peer Raben Music Award, SoundTrack_Cologne aims to appeal to the younger generation of composers and sounddesigners. With AcadeMeet, SoundTrack_Cologne also hosts events for the European universities and education institutions.
Film Festival SEE THE SOUND
SEE THE SOUND, the film festival of SoundTrack_Cologne aims to show a broad array of extra-ordinary music films connecting image and sound by bringing them to the big screen. It takes place from July 02 - 06, 2024.
In addition to the regular film programme, SEE THE SOUND selects eight films for the SEE THE SOUND Music Documentary Award competition.
