Grammy-winning Music Supervisor Steven Gizicki is best known for his work on Damien Chazelle’s musical La La Land, which won the Academy Award and Golden Globes for Best Original Song and Original Score. Steven was also awarded two prizes from the Guild of Music Supervisors for his work on the film. His recent projects include the upcoming Warner Animation Group musical Smallfoot Starring Channing Tatum, Zendaya and Common, buzzy Cannes film Arctic and on-set supervision of the music sequences in the Warner Bros upcoming romantic comedy Crazy Rich Asians.
Steven was also the sole music executive at Lucasfilm for five years and served as an in-house Music Supervisor at Disney Animation. He spent several years in the record label business as a Soundtrack executive at PolyGram Records and as Marketing executive at Virgin Records, where he worked closely with music icons like David Bowie, Lenny Kravitz and Sex Pistols. He is based in Los Angeles.
