Stéphane Bergmans is a Belgian screenwriter and director. He grew up in Brussels and has both flemish and french origins.
After graduating cinemotography at the Institut des Arts de Diffusion he directed several short films and documentaries.
In 2015, following the Belgian national TV initiative to boost local narrative fictions, he creates his first TV-show “La trêve”, together with old time buddies Benjamin d’Aoust and Matthieu Donck.
He is actually finishing the post production of the second season of the series, scheduled to air this fall on Belgian TV and Netflix.
