'Leon Brückner’s score served the different settings of the film excellently. Through good use of silence, the music flexibly switched through the different filmic realms and was capped-off with a nice French twist. The placements and scoring of the music were well-designed and served the film’s humour very well.'

Born in Paris, Erella started learning piano and dance at the age of 4 at a French conservatory. At the age of 17, she moved to Jerusalem to study classical piano and composition at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance. After having spent 6 years in Israel and obtaining a Bachelor of Music in composition, Erella moved to Valencia to pursue a master in composition for films and media at the Berklee College of Music.
Having composed for motion picture and concert pieces, Erella is also working on her artistic project as a singer-songwriter. Drawing inspiration from her French and Israeli heritage, she arranges, plays and sings her songs, in French.

Born in 1990, Julien Bellanger started to learn trumpet and guitar before studying composition. He obtains a degree in harmony and counterpoint, and two Masters in Film Music at Lyon 2 University and at Lyon’s National Conservatoire (CNSMD).
With a background in Jazz and Modern music, he devoted himself to instrumental and orchestral compositions and writes pieces for string ensembles, concert bands, brass bands as well as concert films. He is rewarded in 2017 at the Aubagne and the Valence Film Festivals.

Composition of music for screen began to interest him when he started studying cinematography in Advanced Technician course in 2016. Simultaneously he was in Rouen’s conservatory, where he studied french horn and harmony. Loving both music and cinema, he wanted to find a job which allows him to work with these passions. So, he entered into Olivier Militon’s class in the Annecy’s conservatory to study composition of music for screen in 2018. He keeps playing and learning french horn because it’s very important to him to have a real contact with orchestras and musicians issues when he composes.

Leon Maximilian Brückner was born in 1998 and raised in Oerlinghausen, where he found his way to music by playing trombone, piano and guitar. He wrote several pieces for big band at school and made his first film scores in 2015. Being part of different ensembles, his style is influenced by genres as pop, classic, jazz and experimental.
Since 2016 he is studying music and media at the Institut für Musik und Medien as part of the Robert Schumann Hochschule in Düsseldorf, where he also has jazz guitar classes with Heiner Rennebaum. He is currently working on different educational projects as composer, arranger, media artist, music producer and film director in order to focus his skills in writing music for moving picture and media in general. Furthermore, he works at the WDR in Cologne in the audio department.

In his composition process, Andreas Ernst sets his focus on combining profound harmonic structures with expressional music elements. The 24 year old German composer started to develope his passion for composition by improvising on the piano while trying to create his own unique world of sound. He started to study Music and Media in Düsseldorf at the Institut für Musik und Medien in 2015. Under the direction of Prof. Andreas Grimm and Andreas Kolinski, he learned how to concentrate on musical details, while evolving sound ideas.
His first film score dates back in 2014 and since then he worked on a variety of projects, including composing music for games and films.

Micha Kaiser was born on November, 24th 1995 in Dillenburg, Hessen. As the oldest brother of six younger siblings, music was everyday business for his whole life so far. Since the age of 8 he received piano lessons and since last year, he gives piano lessons. Furthermore he began playing the organ when he was 14. Currently he completes the last quarter of his bachelor studies in musicology and management & economics at Koblenz University.

Fabian Kratzer was born in February 1992 in Nuremberg, Germany. His musical education started at the age of 6 by learning the piano. Soon he continued with guitar and clarinet. He also visited a musical trained secondary school, where he had classes in music theory and singing. He also played E-Bass in a Big Band and for some musical productions. After singing in choirs of his school, he was part of an a capella trio for three men and had many concerts in Nuremberg. In his last years of school, Fabian started wishing to be a composer, especially a film music composer. For his final exam in the school subject music he composed the music for the short movie Signs. After finishing school he had composition classes and composed some music for different instruments. He produced a CD with young people from a religious community, where the people read psalms and he wrote the music for it. He also played the E-Guitar in the alternative rock band 'Glowing Wines' for 3 years. After the band had broken up, he started a new project by playing in an acoustic pop trio called 'Freiluft'.
From 2012 to 2017 Fabian studied ”music and media“ at the Robert Schumann music university in Duesseldorf, Germany and had courses in media compositon and music production. In his first semester he won the newcomer price at the 13th international Carl-von-Ossietzky compostion competition in Oldenburg, Germany for a piece, which was written for choir, organ and percussion. He also visited film music masterclasses from film music composer Marcel Barsotti (The Bern Miracle, Pope Joan) and orchestrations workshops at the Filmmusiktage Sachsen Anhalt in Halle (Saale), Germany.
Fabian wrote the music for some short movies and feature films, e.g. weiter by Eike Weinreich, DE 2015 and Cake for Mr. Leckerschmaus by Dolunay Goerduem, DE 2017. He also made the arrangements for the songs of pop singer Maike. Since October 2015, he has a scholarship of Germany for teaching film music at secondary schools. In March 2017, Fabian wrote the music for a play called Oskar and the secret lost children, which was played at a theater in Nuremberg. From 2017 - 2018 Fabian studied the Master in Scoring for Picture, Television and Video Games at the Berklee College of Music, for which he got a scholarship. After the graduation, he went to Halle again to attend the Masterclass The Orchestra, where he wrote the music for a 64 piece orchestra and recorded it after. Fabian also worked as an assistant for Oscar nominated composer Volker Bertelmann for three months.
He currently works on different projects, including film, theater and musical. On September 12th 2019, the movie Über Grenzen, for which he wrote the music, will be released in cinemas in Germany.

Ana Krstajic (1994) was born in Belgrade, Serbia. After finishing her primary and secondary music school she was accepted at Faculty of Music Art, Composition and Orchestration department, as top of the class.
During her studies at Faculty of Music Art she won several prizes. In 2014 she won 1st Prize at the Young Composer Competition “Women’s Works” (Ithaca, NY). Following year, she was designated as Alternate at the Renne B. Fisher Composer Competition (New Haven, CT). In 2016 she won 2nd Prize at the International Composer Competition “De Bach au Jazz” (Paris, FR) in category Contemporary Piano, designated as the youngest Laureate. Same year she won 1st Prize at “The Best Musical Mind” International Music Competition, (Belgrade, SR) when she was awarded with full scholarship for Berklee Summer Performance Program (Valencia, ESP). She won the Honorary Mention at Soundtrack Cologne festival, European Talent Competition in August 2018.
Ana is composing concert and incidental music. Her music was performed in Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Greece, Italy, Bulgaria, France, Spain, Germany, Russia, Slovenia and USA. She composed music for several Theater plays in Serbia which were premiered in some of the biggest theater houses in the country (Belgrade Drama Theater, Sombor National Theater). Her first appearance in the international scene of Theater music happened in 2017 when she composed music for the play Macbeth at Monbijou Theater in Berlin. Recently she worked on a two TV shows as an orchestrator and additional music writer, Besa and Zmurke, which were broadcast on national television in Serbia. Her Music was broadcast at the Radio Belgrade 3, Eburg radio station (Washington DC) and Sound Art radio (England).
Besides composing Ana is also performing as a pianist in a world music duo 'Tashana'. Duo Tashana merges traditional Balkan music with contemporary classical sound. She is currently composing music for her first contemporary Ballet commission in Belgrade, Serbia. Ana Krstajic has a Master Degree at Berklee College of Music, Scoring for Film, Television and Video Games department, she graduated as Magna Cum Laude.

Pierre-Yves Langlois is a composer, soundpainter, and multi-instrumentalist (saxophone, guitar, drums). He started learning music at age eleven, at his local music school in Aisne (FR), and went on to hone his skills at the Reims (FR) conservatoire while studying musicology at university. He reached his main goal when he was admitted into the jazz saxophone class of the conservatoire of Lille (FR) in 2000: he completed his education there with first class honors in 2006.
Pierre-Yves Langlois is currently fronting his Lille-based band 'The HeadShakers', thanks to which he has managed to work with artists of international renown, such as Franck Tortiller, Russell Gunn, Napoleon Murphy Brock and Fred Wesley. He also directs the 'Soundpainting Orchestra of Lille' (SOOL). Soundpainting is a form of sign language that allows one to direct musicians so as to compose music spontaneously in a live setting. In 2015, Pierre-Yves created the 'Gabitomtom' concert for young audiences with his companion Claire Bellamy.
Lately, he has particularly been dedicating his work to film music and consolidating his bond with his editors (Cezame Music Agency and GUM). In September 2018, he has re-integrated the Lille conservatoire to follow writing classes (that will soon lead to orchestration) and the Vincent Paulet composition workshop.

After studying piano, harmony and orchestration at the Rennes Conservatory, Yann Menou entered music for screen’s class at the Annecy Conservatory where he has been composing for animated films and video games. Being passionate about the relationship between music and stories, he had the opportunity to be nominee at the OST Challenge in ‘Music for experimental film’ category. His composition had the chance to be played by an orchestra during this international competition.

Swenn Mohn was born and raised in Madagascar. His passion for music first started when he was about nine years old and received a violin as his first musical instrument. From there he wanted to learn more about music. Years passed and he gathered many musical instruments on my side such as piano, guitar, saxophone, ukulele and tin whistle. His appetite for music benefited him to explore and produce music in widely varying styles: rock, punk, metal, classical, jazz, flamenco and more. Since then, he began to compose his own instrumental songs and film music.

Born 1989 in Bonn, Lukas Piel took up his studies at Folkwang University in Essen in 2009, focusing on piano and singing. He graduated 2014 and became winner of the Folkwang-Award. Subsequently he commenced further studies at the Institut for Music and Media in Düsseldorf with focus on media composition for film and games, including scoring and sound designing as well as working with different middleware.
Currently he is working on national and international projects in the game and film industry.

Joey Reda is a film composer based in Montreal. His earliest undertakings in scoring have emerged from student projects and partnerships with independent filmmakers. Since 2016, he has collaborated on numerous short films and video games. His past experience in concert bands and his jazz studies, combined with his strong interest for popular music, have allowed him to harness a wide range of musical genres. After studying composition at McGill University in 2017, he pursued graduate studies in film scoring at Berklee College of Music.
Some of his previous achievements include co-composing and co-mixing the score to Bandai Namco’s Lifetime: A PAC-MAN Story, which is a short animated film created to celebrate the video game’s 38th anniversary. In 2018, he was selected as one of the twelve finalists for the European Talent Award of Soundtrack Cologne.

Paul Clímaco Müller Reyes is a Düsseldorf based musician and media artist. He was born in 1996 in Aachen. His works and interests lay in the fields of composition for media, visual music and music informatics. In 2019 he was nominated as a finalist at Soundcinema Düsseldorf in the category musical compositions. In addition, the short he worked on for the film competition 24h to take, won the jury award this year.
He is studying music and media at the Institut für Musik und Medien at Robert Schumann Hochschule Düsseldorf, where he is having classical guitar classes with Professor Alexander-Sergei Ramirez. In addition, he experiments and creates sounds with modular synthesizers and field recordings, which he also likes to implement into his work.
