Erika Oltmanns works for SONOTON Music since 1989 as Director for Music Licensing Germany. She is responsible for license and contract negotiations with producers, industry and TV companies. She is the leader of SONOTON music and license consultants. Moreover, she represents the interests of SONOTON and its media partners towards German collecting societies like GEMA and GVL.
Before 1989 she was business executive at the music production company "Movie Music". As a freelancer in a Munich TV production company, she collected a lot of experience in the practice of Film and TV production.
For the magazine "Professional Production", she dealt with relevant topics concerning producing features or TV movies. Considering that, she wrote informative articles about GEMA topics.
