Iris Wolfinger studied German Philology, Philosphy and Education. After, she was involved in voluntary work as a technology writer.
She has been initially working as a freelance culture journalist, later she has been spokeswoman and head of public relations of "Film und Medien Stiftung NRW".
Since 1998 she is film producer at Warner Bros. ITVP Deutschland GmbH.
