Game Music Composer Concert with Paul Wolinski

Where: 674FM Konzertraum
When: Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at 19:00

An immersive solo performance from the code-savvy artist behind Wreckage Systems and No Man’s Sky. Expect audiovisual effects, live machines, algorithmic soundscapes, and a talk with the artist afterwards.

Presented by Bob Humid & Uli Sigg.

Buddenbrooks - Silent Film Concert

Where: COMEDIA Theater · Roter Saal
When: Thursday, July 10, 2025 at 19:00

The 1923 film adaptation of Buddenbrooks, newly restored by the Deutsche Kinemathek, is presented with an original live score by Marco Brosolo (drums, synths, electronics), and his collaborators Kristina Lösche-Löwensen (theremin, synths and piano) and Johannes Marx (piano, synths, electronics). A beautiful tribute to one of Germany’s literary masterpieces.

Film Music Concert & SoundTrack_Cologne Award Ceremony

Where: WDR Funkhaus – Klaus-von-Bismarck-Saal
When: Friday, July 11, 2025 at 19:00

Enjoy music from recent blockbuster hits, acclaimed series, and video games, performed live by the WDR Funkhausorchester. The evening will feature renowned composers responsible for the scores performed.

STC will present five awards, including the Career Achievement Award to Michael Abels.

The program includes music from Nope, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, Star Wars: The Acolyte, Die Schule der Magischen Tiere, Islands (winner of the German Film Prize 2025 - Best Film Music), and more.
